Polymer Clay is a versatile plastic compound used by artists and craftspeople all over the world. In this introductory workshop students develop a basic knowledge of the properties and potential of polymer clay as an artist’s medium through a hands-on experience creating a “cooperative” polymer clay cane. Students use a small portion of that cane to create and finish a necklace pendant (with earrings, time permitting). Each student will take home a completed raw cane to be used independently at home, along with safe baking instructions to complete their pieces. Material Fee of $15 payable to instructor at start of class includes all tools and materials for the workshop. Bring a small box to transport your work home.
