In a supportive class devoted to poetry, memoir, and fiction, students will have the opportunity for in depth discussion of their writing. Feedback will incorporate constructive criticism, including a focus on what's working on each page, and suggestions for revision. Students will be encouraged to experiment with new subject matter, styles and forms of writing, and can work on uncovering material from their own lives. Optional assignments will be given in order to expand the range of possiblities for each writer. This workshop is appropriate for experienced as well as new writers, for those immersed in a writing project and those struggling with writer's block. Please bring 12 copies.
