Architectural models are useful to explain a sense of space to both designers and clients. Designers can view options for spatial/formal arrangements, and clients can visualize the potential project. In this presentation, a variety of study models will be presented to explain the function and construction of different types of models. Eric Anderson, Assistant Professor of Architecture and Construction Management at Farmingdale State College will present a variety of models and discuss the materials and methods needed to create models as useful tools in the design process.
