American-born Dale Chihuly is an internationally famous glass artist. His unique style of glassblowing is legendary with countless variations of twirling and twisting shapes to emulate flowers, balls and abstract shapes bursting with color. Many of his pieces are lovingly installed amidst nature, including ponds, botanical gardens, deserts and other settings. Learn about his life and artistic techniques, as well as an armchair tour of one of his most recent exhibitions at the New York Botanical Gardens.
