Ever wonder how to ”make it” as an artist?

Join us for this lecture series with eight New York City based artists who are “makin’ it” and are very art at work. Each artist will tell you their story, introduce you to their work, and share their secrets to success!

In this installment in the series:
10/7 Jenna Gribbon - This NYC painter speaks about being commissioned by director Sofia Coppola the feature film Marie Antoinette, and her collaboration with fashion designer Samantha Pleet by printing her paintings onto fabric.

‘Art at Work’ is curated by New York- based art historian Marina Press. While she was the Associate Director of Bernarducci Meisel Gallery she became involved with the community of the Art League of Long Island. In 2016, she was the Juror of the exhibition 'Art in Motion'. She continues to contribute to the community by presenting this lecture series!
