During the workshop, LI author, lecturer and photographer John P. Cardone will lead the participants through the steps needed to bring their digital images through the printing process. While John uses PC friendly software in the class demonstrations, it can be applied to Apple products as well. The workshop will cover digital and print image resolution, photo-print paper choices, printer selection, using printer setting dialogue boxes, steps for cropping and maintaining quality. The workshop will cover the printing steps for PhotoShop, Nikon View NX2, and HP Photo Creations software. John will include 4 print sizes in his demonstrations: large format 13” x 19” and standard 8” x 10”, 5” x 7” and 4” x 6” prints. Mode selection will help you understand printing in portrait or landscape formats.
