"Get involved in the exciting world of jewelry and create beautiful sterling silver pieces of jewelry of your own creative designs. Learn techniques for setting beautiful stone and how to pierce, solder, shape and finish metals. Sample projects include a dangle pierced pendant, a pair of hammered earrings with stone accents, and a wire pendant or ring. Class includes step-by-step instructions and individual attention. Teacher will provide inspiration, samples and initial materials of sterling plate, wire, solder, other metals, stones and small tools. Bring a black marker, pencil, sketchpad, and plastic box for projects and tools. Materials fee payable to instructor at start of class.
