Learn the basics of traditional wet felting by taking raw natural fibers such as wool and silk to create a wet-felted flower brooch or small wall hanging. Students will learn the process of combining fibers with water and soap to create a solid, non-woven fabric with endless color and texture. Bring: 1 large towel and 1 small hand towel, a spray bottle, and a bamboo mat for rolling. Material fee of $18 payable to instructor includes merino and silk roving, 2 brooch backings, 1 eco-friendly needle felting pad and felting needle. All are welcome!
