Learn basic techniques of producing digital art work utilizing Adobe Illustrator from a professional digital illustrator. Adobe Illustrator is an amazing application for creating precise, detailed and scalable vector illustrations for graphic design, textiles, web sites and more. Illustrator can also be used to produce more traditional looking art such as pencil sketches and ink drawings. This very in-depth, hands-on, beginners class will cover essential features such as: menus, tools, palettes, selection tools, drawing tools, pen tools, layers, transformations/distortions, type tools, anchor points, line segments, paths, shapes, blends, and much, much more. This class will give you the basics on which you can further develop your skills to master the challenging but rewarding software application. Our computer lab can accommodate 6 students at a time, therefore all computer classes offer an intimate and personal learning experience. Students wishing to save their work should bring a USB flash drive or blank CD.
